Digital Women's Day: a new edition organized in 2020

The latest edition of Digital Women's Day, an event created in 2013, took place in Paris and, for the first time, on the African continent, in the city of Dakar, last June. By 2020, the event dedicated to women who are revolutionizing the world through digital technology will once again extend its influence in Europe and on the African continent.

Delphine Remy-Boutang, CEO of the Bureau & JFD, revealed the highlights of this upcoming edition: a new identity, diversification of activities, redesigned experiences, and major new features.

With "Beyond" as its central theme, Digital Women's Day will be held on April 21, 2020, at the Maison de la Radio (Paris) and in July 2020 in Africa. The chosen theme reveals the organizers' ambition to go beyond generations, genders, and borders, beyond awareness, for a new, more inclusive approach focused on the importance of digital technology in the global challenges of the 21st century.

As in previous editions, the Margaret Prize will reward a European and African entrepreneur and intrapreneur. The international call for applications will be launched on January 2, and the jury will meet on February 6 to select the winners.

Finally, to accompany its internationalization, Digital Women's Day is launching Digital Women's Day to enter the European scene and continue its expansion in Africa. The official date has not yet been announced.
