After an edition organized in Ouagadougou in 2018, the Série Series Africa festival is moving to the economic capital of Abidjan this April.
Série Series Africa is a pan-African meeting place dedicated to series and their creators. The event, open to professionals and the general public, has been designed to showcase the continent's series and talent.
Series are a phenomenal vehicle for cultural influence, everywhere in the world and tenfold in Africa. I hope that through this event we will contribute to promoting audiovisual creation on the international scene and that we will build new bridges between Africa and Europe in terms of creation,"
said Marie Barraco, founder of the event, in an interview with Adweknow.
