Stad'Afric, the leading channel for French-speaking African sports and athletes, is expanding into the digital realm with a new app.
Broadcast in France and across Africa via cable and satellite operators, and worldwide via the internet, Stad'Afric now makes all African sports news available free of charge via its app on the Apple Store and Google Play.
In an interview with Adweknow, Laurent Leleux, the channel's Director of Operations, said: "We produce all our content on the ground in Africa. Our network of correspondents across the continent provides daily content for the channel's various programs. The editorial department in Paris operates as a hub. This enables Stad'Afric to be the first channel to respond to the demand of an audience seeking both local and international information. "
Stad'Afric is therefore accessible on the go, anywhere in the world, thanks to an app tailored to the needs of an African population that is increasingly connected via mobile phones.
