TV5MONDE is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Bofunda Ilingo as Director for Africa within the Distribution, Marketing, and Sales department.
This new appointment completes the organization of the French-language channel's Marketing department following the retirement of Jean-Luc Cronel and the appointment of Denise Époté as Director of Distribution, Marketing, and Sales in January 2022.
Patrick Bofunda Ilingo
With a bachelor's degree in public administration and a master's degree in law, Patrick Bofunda Ilingo began his career in 2011 as private secretary to Christian Atoki Ileka, DRC ambassador to France, before becoming political and diplomatic assistant to the ambassador in 2018. In 2021, he was appointed expert and member of the G20 development working group on behalf of the Presidency of the DRC. He continued his career in 2020 as manager of public affairs, external communications, and marketing at PPC BARNET in Kinshasa. At the same time, in 2018, he founded the agency 2i Conseil in Kinshasa, specializing in influence strategy in marketing and public communication. He joined TV5MONDE in May 2022 as director of TV5MONDE Afrique.
