NCI, the new Ivorian channel that began broadcasting on December 12, has announced the signing of a contract to acquire the rights to the series "Chez Les Koffi," produced by Icône Media.
The series, written and produced by Anselm NFA, depicts the daily life of an Ivorian family through funny and endearing characters. The first season comprises 45 episodes of 26 minutes each and will be broadcast on NCI every day from Monday to Friday at 6:00 p.m. starting February 17.
Chez les KOFFI features a somewhat eccentric Ivorian family; between setbacks and squabbles, there are also moments of tenderness and affection, reflecting the difficulties and realities experienced by most Ivorian and African households.
Many topics are addressed with humor and simplicity, while conveying values that denounce the behaviors that pollute our society. The various themes of everyday life, such as solidarity, love, betrayal, trust, caution, money, commitment, merit, and honor, make each episode unique and interesting.

Between parents who strive for education and less hassle in their daily lives and children who always want more, there are many conflicts and quarrels in the Koffi family. Unfortunately, they cannot count on their relatives and friends to help them, quite the contrary. Starting with the intrusive mother-in-law who meddles far too much in her son's home, followed by the best gossip and quarrelsome woman, the two brothers-in-law, one of whom is a freeloader and the other a con artist and smooth talker, not to mention the boss, a short, authoritarian, and stingy man, and finally the lovely new neighbor who causes trouble in the neighborhood.
