On March 16, comedian Mamane laid the foundation stone for his future School of Comedy and Arts (ECA) during an inauguration ceremony held in Niamey.
Mamane is thus launching the construction of this new project,
which is close to his heart as he intends to bring out the continent's talents by providing training in comedy and the arts. This new school will create job opportunities and offer new horizons for young people in the Sahel region, which is marked by numerous geopolitical challenges. On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, Mamane, a man of talent and heart, was named Knight of the Order of Merit in the presence of the President of Niger.
For several years, Mamane has been involved in a number of projects in Africa, driven by his ambition to identify, bring together, mentor, and support talented individuals.
We are forming a family within which African comedians can become professionals, so that their art can become an economy that is profitable and creates jobs, as it does elsewhere in the world, such as in music and soccer,
"
Mamane said at the opening of the first Gondwana Club in Abidjan.
