's 24/7 YouTube channel, will be dedicated to training, entrepreneurship, employment, and project launches, with a dual focus on the creative industries and the export of film, television, and radio content, as well as on French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.
DISCOVER
is intended for those who, with their talent, vision, and energy, wish to actively participate in the development of these sectors in the 17 countries of this region, where 125 million people speak French.
The DISCOVER
channel aims to breathe new life
into training, knowledge transfer, experience sharing, the promotion of new talent, recruitment, and market access.
The DISCOVER
channel is scheduled to launch on September 1.
Its programming will be provided in collaboration with recognized experts who are close to the DISCOP
community and share the same goal: to promote the development of the creative industries and the export of film, television, and radio content in French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa.
Discover will have several components:
CAMPUS
: Ten new videos produced in collaboration with major organizations such as the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, Canal Plus University, and the Alliance Media Jeunesse will enrich the weekly tutorial series on writing, development, fundraising, fake news, production, animation, etc. but also on co-production agreements, international sales, and brand relations.
ADVICE
: In 20-minute videos, leading companies in the fields of broadcasting, production, financing, dubbing, and international distribution will share their insights on topics such as compliance, content storage and delivery, media buying and advertising sponsorship, sports and video games, e-commerce, and program monetization. They will address the DISCOP
community and discuss current topics, highlight their strategies, and showcase their expertise.
LIVE:
Each week, for one hour, DISCOVER
will host a major live virtual debate on current topics that are of interest to the DISCOP
community. Audiences will be invited to share their opinions, feelings, and comments, and at the end of each program, job and internship offers will be posted.

10-minute videos will highlight the "new blood"
of this industry through film, television, radio, and video game projects pitched by their creators. Each month, a prize will be awarded to the project that has been most viewed by the DISCOP
community. It will then be recommended to buyers and co-production partners looking for new ideas.
PUB:
The role and intelligent integration of brands will become increasingly important in the development and financing of content. Brands do not often have the opportunity to express their relationship with the world of content production and their ever-evolving expectations.

Previews of films, TV series, radio dramas, and video games will be offered to predefined groups of buyers and co-production partners. By invitation only, these virtual events will be presented by seasoned hosts, who will place these works in a current context. Interaction with the target audiences will be maintained by the DISCOP
