In Kinshasa, in partnership with production companies Clarimage and On est ensemble productions, an 8 x 52-minute political thriller set in Kinshasa is currently being written.
Supervised by one of the screenwriters of Sakho et Mangane, Olivier Messa Essono, the six pre-selected Congolese screenwriters worked from April 1 to 13, 2019, on the development of the series and its logistical, economic, and industrial constraints. They also focused on the construction of the narrative arcs and the synopsis.

In Burkina Faso, a 10 x 52-minute series is in development. This drama will adapt a story based on real events, that of a supplier of fake visas who was also a serial killer.
The project follows a call for applications launched last March. In partnership with Acacia Productions, ten pre-selected screenwriters gathered for an initial writing workshop at the French Institute in Ouagadougou. At the end of this workshop, a second selection took place. The five candidates chosen by the jury will meet again in June to continue the project.
