Back to school 2020: Sports, cooking, and interactivity on the menu at A+ IVOIRE

For its second season, A+ Ivoire is consolidating its programming schedule and adding a few new features to an already well-established lineup that remains largely unchanged.

The most notable new feature this season is the live broadcast of the best matches from the Côte d'Ivoire Ligue 1 championship. Starting in October, every Sunday afternoon, viewers will be able to watch a match from the Ivorian championship. Immediately after the match, Carols Kouandé and Adam Khalil will host a new sports magazine program, "Les Koumanli de foot," during which they will review the highlights of the match and the latest soccer news in the country.

A+ IVOIRE is also offering a new culinary program broadcast every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. starting September 6: "Recettes d'Afrique" (Recipes of Africa). Presented by host Necy N'Dri, the program will feature the continent's best chefs creating original dishes that showcase local ingredients.

In terms of series, A+ IVOIRE is breaking new ground with the broadcast of "L'Or de Ninkinanka," a Senegalese series loosely based on Sokhna Benga's fantasy novel. A+ IVOIRE is inviting viewers to participate in the development of the script by sharing their opinions on the Facebook page. This series, produced in collaboration with Marodi Productions, will be filmed in near real time in order to best incorporate all contributions.

The rest of the schedule remains unchanged: entertainment programs such as "Esprit Zouglou," "On se dit les gbê," "Défends tes 50 000 F," and "Label'Ivoire" will return to their usual slots, and A+ IVOIRE will continue to broadcast hit series such as "Maîtresse d'un homme marié" season 2 and the final season of "Mara, une femme unique."
