CM Africa enters into strategic partnership with Social Media Club Tunisia

CM d'Afrique, the community that brings together all Community Managers on the African continent, has announced a new strategic partnership with the Social Media Club Tunisia. This is a first step towards creating an inter-African – MENA digital communication hub.

CM d'Afrique is a platform created in June 2016 by Chedjou Kamdem, a Cameroonian digital manager and author of the blog Histoires de CM. Since 2016, this platform has aimed to bring together community management professionals in Africa. This profession has been present on the continent since the 2000s but is developing in line with the increase in internet penetration rates and the exponential growth of smartphones. Thanks to this network, analyses of brand communications, the publication of key data, and regular surveys, CM d'Afrique is responding to the growing interest of internet users and businesses in the main social networks and best practices to adopt.

The Social Media Club Tunisia is one of the entities of the Social Media Club professional network. Based in the United States, this network, founded in 2013, brings together more than 600 clubs around the world with the aim of uniting internet users around a community and disseminating best practices in the use of social networks worldwide.

Through this partnership, CM d'Afrique and Social Media Club Tunisia will join forces to become one of the leading showcases for community management among their respective audiences. Through joint actions, the two entities are taking the first step towards creating an inter-African MENA digital communication hub, where the need for digitalization is growing.
