In a few weeks, NCI (Nouvelle Chaîne Ivoirienne) will become the first private Ivorian television channel to launch on DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) after A+ Ivoire, which began broadcasting last January.
NCI will occupy channel 4 on DTT and will also be available at the end of this year on channel 204 of the Canal+ package and on Orange TV.
NCI, which positions itself as a premium general-interest channel, intends to offer viewers a program schedule with a distinctly Ivorian character.
The loop currently broadcast on channel 4 of DTT, channel 204 of the CANAL+ package, and Orange TV gives a glimpse of the channel's editorial intent.
With just a few weeks to go before the channel's official launch, Cheick Yvhane, Director of Programming, and Sandra Coulibaly, Director of Marketing, have just announced the signing of a content acquisition agreement with Henriette DUPARC, heir and beneficiary of the late Henri DUPARC, known as the "Master of African Comedy." the late Henri Duparc, for a content acquisition contract that authorizes it to broadcast seven of the director's greatest films.
Ivorian viewers will thus have the opportunity to see or revisit these great classics of Ivorian cinema on NCI: Bal Poussière, Le Sixième Doigt, Abusuan, Caramel, Rue Princesse, Une Couleur Café, L'herbe Sauvage, which depict the customs and traditions of Côte d'Ivoire, its mysteries and traditions through plots that combine tenderness, humor, and social criticism.
