Inaugurated last Wednesday in the presence of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly and Minister of Communication and Media Sidi Tiémoko Touré, the RTI Group's third channel began broadcasting on Sunday, February 16, at 4:55 p.m.
Directed by Didier Bléou, La 3 will be dedicated to sports and entertainment and will target a young audience with a public service mission. In the words of the Prime Minister, "Beyond entertainment, this channel must also contribute to the education of our people."
The channel's programs, which are called Le JT sports, Echauffement, La Grande Team, On libère en zouglou, On décale, direct ligue 2 On kiffe hip hop, will be presented by well-known hosts, artists, and athletes such as Yves Aymar, Mulukuku, Serge Beynaud, Eric Patron, Ozone, Teeyah, and others.
Covering international news from the world of media and sports, discovering musical trends, discovering or rediscovering the matches that made Ivorian soccer great, highlighting Ivorian athletes and artists… these are the ambitious goals that the channel and its CEO have set for themselves to meet the high expectations of young Ivorians.
La 3 can now be viewed on Ivorian DTT (channel 3), as well as on CANAL+ (channel 99), Startimes (channel 740), and the RTI mobile app.
With this launch, the first five DTT channels, consisting of the three public service channels, NCI and A+Ivoire, are offering their programs to Ivorian viewers… pending the upcoming launch of Life TV (channel 6) and 7 info (channel 7).
