Since the beginning of June, RFI has been offering its listeners a new radio drama entitled "Dianké." Conceived as a 12-episode series, each lasting 20 minutes, "Dianké" addresses the topics of feminism and African youth through the story of an emancipated young African woman fighting against corruption.
This new radio drama, filmed in Dakar, was produced by the NGO RAES, led by Alexandre Rideau. RAES is a Senegalese NGO that has developed an international network of partners by implementing media awareness projects on the themes of health, education, and development. It also produced the drama "C'est la vie!" This series was broadcast on television, rolled out digitally, and adapted for radio, with RFI airing the episodes last summer.
The series will soon be translated into Hausa, Mandinka, and Fulfulde, then broadcast on RFI in all these languages.
Broadcast
Available since June 1, 2020, as a native podcast on rfi.fr and on streaming platforms (Apple Podcast, Deezer, Spotify, TuneIn).
