Following the publication of Africascope's new results for 2021, CANAL+ ADVERTISING has just published its new sales pitch.
As Alexandre Cohen reminded us in the interview he gave us at the end of last year, CANAL+ ADVERTISING is the advertising agency for channels published by CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL and five partner publishers: Trace, France Media Monde, TV5MONDE, Gulli Africa, and 7info in Ivory Coast. CANAL+ ADVERTISING also markets advertising space in the CanalOlympia cinema network and, more recently, RFI's offering to national advertisers in Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Indian Ocean islands.
The 27 channels for which it markets advertising space represent 45% of the total audience in the eight countries studied, making CANAL+ ADVERTISING the largest advertising agency in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.
However, this audience share varies significantly from one country to another: 63% in Côte d'Ivoire, where Novelas TV and A+ Ivoire are the most popular channels, and only 30% in Senegal, where the private national channels TFM, SenTV, and 2STV dominate the audiovisual landscape.
CANAL+ ADVERTISING is also the leading digital advertising agency: its various media generate more than 15 million page views each month.
