Paydunya launches its operations in Benin

Created to enable the digitization of businesses operating in Africa and meet all the payment needs of unbanked individuals, Paydunya continues to expand across the continent.

Today, it is taking a new step forward by expanding into a new territory: Benin. Despite two difficult years linked to Covid-19, which significantly slowed down the startup's development, Paydunya is catching its breath and accelerating its growth.

By launching its activities in Benin, Paydunya aims to boost local businesses by promoting financial inclusion through the multitude of payment methods available on the platform.

Since 2015, PayDunya has been providing businesses and institutions with payment solutions tailored to emerging markets, enabling them to grow through digital technology. Paydunya boasts a network of 600 business customers and records an average of 40,000 transactions per day.

" With a network of 600 client companies, we record an average of 40,000 transactions per day, but this varies as we can see peaks of 65,000 transactions per day," said Youma Fall, co-founder and Executive Director of PayDunya.
