SMART AFRICA opens a digital academy in Benin

After Congo, Rwanda, and Ghana, Smart Africa has officially opened a Smart Africa Digital Academy in Benin. This initiative aims to facilitate the digital transition of the African continent and promote entrepreneurial ecosystems in areas where there is a severe lack of digital skills, despite the rapid growth seen in this field in recent years.

More specifically, this national digital academy will, through specific interventions by professionals in the field, strengthen capacities related to the Benin government's priorities in the ICT sector.

It should be noted that Smart Africa, led by Lacina Koné, is an initiative dedicated to the digitization of the continent, connecting and interconnecting African governments to accelerate sustainable socio-economic development on the continent by introducing Africa to an inclusive economy based on digital technology and ICT. The project now brings together 24 African countries.
