It's official, the 5th edition of Y'ello Startup is underway! 🚀🎉
On September 15, 2023, MTN Côte d'Ivoire launched the fifth edition of its Y'ello Startup program, which aims to support 20 startups. The event brought together key players from the startup ecosystem and the financial sector to discuss the theme: "How can we create a sustainable innovation ecosystem in Côte d'Ivoire?"
This panel, moderated by Ms. Hafou Toure S, an expert in policies for improving conditions for SMEs 📈✨ and also a director of the MTN Foundation, explored a range of topics, from the ecosystem to key success factors, including collaborations, partnerships, and support to encourage sustainable innovation.
The CEO of MTN CI, Mr. Djibril Ouattara, along with experts such as Dr. Moussa Diaby, Managing Director of INPHB, El-Hassan Kaba, CEO and founder of Mansa Bank, Steven BEDI, President of CI20, and Ms. Leslie Ossete, co-founder of Mstudio, all highlighted the success of investments in startups, emphasizing sustainable innovation as the key to success.
The program will include an incubation phase for 60 startup ideas, followed by an acceleration phase 🚀👌 for the 20 best ones, which will benefit from a partnership with Stanford Seed Spark.
