At the fourth edition of Viva Technology in Paris, Wari and Mara Phones announced the signing of a strategic partnership to enable all users of Mara Phones, the Rwandan brand, to benefit from Wari's financial and commercial services.

The two African companies aim to collaborate and expand across the continent's 54 countries. Wari services will be integrated into Mara phones during production, and this new product will be marketed at all Wari and Mara Phones points of sale.

"We are extremely excited about this collaboration and hope that it will enable Wari to develop its integrated offering on Mara Phones. This partnership is consistent with our vision at Mara Phones, which is to increase new offerings with service providers such as Wari. Mara Phones' goal is to reach and offer its customers quality phones made in Africa,

" said Ashish J. Thakkar, CEO of Mara Phones.

"This partnership is a great opportunity for Wari to diversify its offering and democratize the use of our MyWariApp application. Mara Phones are the first phones built entirely on the African continent, and we should be proud of this achievement. As African champions of the continent, we must support each other and encourage the development of African partnerships to create value and increase economic growth," said Kabirou Mbodje, CEO of Wari.
