TV Media Sport announces acquisition of UEFA EURO 2020 broadcasting rights in sub-Saharan Africa

With just a few months to go before the kick-off of UEFA EURO 2020, TV Media Sport has announced that it has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights for the tournament in sub-Saharan Africa.

The rights cover 40 territories on the continent, and the agency will market a total of 15 matches to broadcasters.

As for pay TV, StarTimes announced in August 2019 that it had acquired the broadcasting rights in sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa.

This year's major sporting event, the 2020 European Football Championship (UEFA Euro 2020), will take place from June 12 to July 12 in 12 major European cities.
