On May 28, the TRACE group officially launched its new training platform, Trace Academia.
Active since 2017, the TRACE multimedia group is stepping up its initiatives across its various areas of activity, including television, radio, and digital media. Today, the group is entering a new dimension, and it was in South Africa that the platform was officially launched in the presence of Elisabeth Moreno, Minister for Equal Opportunities.
"In Africa, more than 50% of the population is under 25, and not all governments have the means to build all the schools that are needed… "
Initially planned for 2020, Trace Academia will offer courses created in collaboration with companies, institutions, and experts to ensure that the skills taught are in line with market needs. The ambition is to train 25 million young people by 2025.
In an interview with Adweknow, the CEO of Trace said: "This vast project allows us to transform the TRACE group from an entertainment group into an 'empowerment' group by putting entertainment at the service of an educational project to enable millions of young people to fulfill their professional potential."
