The Stad'Afric channel ceases broadcasting and disappears for a second time, probably for good.

In order to protect its interests, avoid any confusion or misuse, and formalize the fact that Mr. Junior Rengou Ouzerou, who was the founder of the Stad'Afric channel, no longer has any decision-making or operational role at the Stad'Afric channel since he asked the Mediactive Group to revive the channel after its bankruptcy at the end of'Afric, no longer has any decision-making or operational role at the Stad'Afric channel since he asked the Mediactive Group to revive the channel after its bankruptcy at the end of 2017 and the liquidation of the Baigom Company, the Mediactive Group has decided to shut down the channel and end its broadcasting.

This decision comes after the Mediactive Group was forced to distance itself from Mr. Junior Rengou in 2018 and failed to reach an agreement. Despite the material evidence, Mr. Junior Rengou continues to claim ownership and management of the channel, while offering no acceptable plan for the Mediactive Group and refusing all offers made to him.

The Mediactive Group, which was keen to honor its own commitments to its partners and employees when it had to officially take over the channel and relaunch it as a matter of urgency, has found that under the current conditions it will be impossible to recover the significant sums that have been invested, particularly those injected to cover the substantial financial liabilities left by Mr. Junior Rengou and his company, Baigom Company. The Stad'Afric name has been permanently tarnished and the losses are significant. The channel is therefore ceasing broadcasting permanently.

However, the Mediactive Group continues to claim full ownership of the channel and the brand, which cannot be exploited by Mr. Junior Rengou, the Cameroon-based Groupe Bouquet Africa (which Mr. Junior Rengou is attempting to involve), or any other third party without an official agreement.

As Mr. Junior Rengou has contributed nothing to what Stad'Afric has become since its takeover by the Mediactive Group, it is important to note that he cannot claim any credit.

The editorial and production team set up by Groupe Mediactive, as well as the 14 local correspondents, who have been doing high-quality, recognized work for a year, are the first to suffer the consequences of this dispute, which will now be taken to court. Nevertheless, they unanimously support this decision.

That is why Mediactive Group is currently working on a project that will enable all teams and partners to bounce back quickly and in a completely clean slate context.
