The new edition of the Luchon Festival 2023 will take place from January 31 to February 5.

Once again, the event will be an opportunity to reward French and French-language television productions. The aim? To promote television creativity in all its diversity and for the widest possible audience.

This year, French-speaking Africa, and more specifically Ivory Coast, will be represented! Already selected for FESPACO 2023, the series ÔBATANGA is also part of the official selection for this edition of the Luchon Festival.

Based on a thrilling story and featuring a cast of African stars, this new series is produced by CANAL+ ORIGINAL. It is also the first series written by Henri Melingui, a young Cameroonian film enthusiast who has created and developed a gripping plot with characters that are as fascinating as they are enigmatic.

On the directing side, we also find the talented Alex Ogou, who is already responsible for the previous successes of INVISIBLES and CACAO, and who enhances this new project with his ambitious artistic vision.
