Samantha Biffot and Alex Ogou honored at the Vues d'Afrique Film Festival

The 39th edition of the Vues d'Afrique International Film Festival announced the winners and honorable mentions of its main competition at the Cinémathèque québécoise on April 30.

The talented Alex Ogou and Samantha Biffot were among the winners. The festival recognized the successful series De plus en plus loin, Ô Batanga by Alex Ogou, as well as Le futur est à nous by Samantha Biffot.

The Vues d'Afrique International Film Festival is a festival outside the continent dedicated to African cinema, screening more than 100 films each year about Africa, Creole countries, and their diasporas.
