RTI is the official broadcaster of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations

On November 3, RTI held its traditional ceremony to mark the start of the new season. On this occasion, the group also announced that it will be the exclusive broadcaster of the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, to be held in Côte d'Ivoire.

The sales and marketing plan for the 2023 TOTAL ENERGIES African Cup of Nations campaign was presented to advertisers.

During the event, Degny Maixent, advisor to the CEO of RTI in charge of the group's channels, said that "the role of Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) is to inspire Ivorians by offering exciting and innovative TV and radio programs," thus renewing the group's commitment to providing quality content while promoting sport.

Beyond sports, RTI is also very active in the field of entertainment news and the production and distribution of fiction programs.

“RTI Distribution was created with the aim of promoting the RTI group's audiovisual productions in Côte d'Ivoire and around the world, as well as supporting independent Ivorian and African producers in the exploitation of their works. Its main mission is to provide the group's channels with high-quality, premium content of all kinds," said Fausseni Dembélé, CEO of RTI, in a recent interview with Adweknow.

As a reminder, the official draw for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations took place on October 12 in Abidjan. Senegal, the defending champion, will face Cameroon, Guinea, and Gambia in Group C, which was dubbed the "group of death" during the draw. The Ivorian team will face Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.

The competition will take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
