Screenwriter and director Françoise Ellong has announced the creation of Page Blanche, a writing agency specializing in screenwriting in all its forms, with a focus on "training."
Co-founded by three professionals in the field of cinema and audiovisual media: Adiaratou Sangare, Jean De Dieu Konan, and Françoise Ellong-Gomez.
Françoise Ellong has made a name for herself with her feature film W.A.K.A, shot in Cameroon, and more recently with the daily soap opera "Le Futur est à Nous" (The Future Belongs to Us).Since then, the young woman has been involved in numerous initiatives to contribute to the development and structuring of the film industry on the African continent.
W.A.K.A proved to me and to the actors that we can make high-quality films. And it is clear that there are more and more high-quality works today. This is undeniable, even if financial resources remain a real obstacle. As a screenwriter and director, I use my credibility to give credibility to others who want to make films in Cameroon," the screenwriter and director said in an interview with Adweknow.
