Opinion & Public unveils the 2022 edition of the ranking of the most admired African brands

Since 2010, the Brand Africa 100: Africa's Best Brands ranking has analyzed and listed brands and companies in Africa, based on a Geopoll study conducted in more than 25 countries and data analysis carried out by Kantar and Brand Leadership.

Once again this year, Brand Africa has unveiled its new annual ranking of the 100 most admired brands on the continent. This provided an opportunity to organize a series of events in Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire.

Here are the initial findings:

" Against a backdrop of urgent resilience in economies devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the acceleration of the AfCFTA's goal of stimulating intra-African trade, after a five-year decline, African brands have jumped from 4% to 17% from a historic low of 13% in 2020 and 2021 "

African brands climb to 17% of the Top 100 brands. Nike is the No. 1 brand for the fourth consecutive year. Dangote is the No. 1 brand that embraces African pride. MTN is the No. 1 most admired African brand.
GT Bank is the No. 1 financial services brand.

At the announcement of the ranking in Côte d'Ivoire, the agency Opinion & Public, which initiated the project, also announced the launch of the Brand Côte d'Ivoire ranking for future editions.

Opinion & Public, based in Côte d'Ivoire, is a leading agency affiliated with the global BCW network and was founded in 2019 by Kwame Senou. Through this entity, it represents BCW in Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Benin, and Liberia.
