LERAL TV is now available on LG Smart TVs

The LERAL TV channel is now available on LG televisions manufactured from 2016 onwards that use the WebOS operating system version 3.0 or later.
To access it, you need to download the LERAL TV app from the LG Content Store on your television.

Apart from the fact that LERAL TV is the first television channel to implement this opportunity in West Africa, this innovation opens up new perspectives for channel distribution: on the one hand, TV manufacturers are enriching their offerings by providing content on their Smart TVs, and on the other hand, television channels are benefiting from new opportunities to be watched.

Of course, this remains very marginal compared to the power of satellite or terrestrial broadcasting, but it is no coincidence that this innovation comes from a Senegalese channel. Senegal is, in fact, the country with the highest Internet usage in all of French-speaking Africa, and also the one that offers the most innovative uses.

It should be noted that the LERAL group, headed by Dame DIENG, was originally a web TV channel and website. In April 2020, the Senegalese media group obtained authorization to broadcast on Senegalese DTT on CHANNEL 33.

The free DTT offering provided by EXCAF in Senegal consists of 22 channels: RTS1 – RTS2 – 2STV – RDV – TFM – 7TV – MOURCHID TV – LAMP TV – TOUBA TV – WALF TV – DTV – SENTV – 2SI – MOURIDIYAH – ITV – TVS (Kaolack) – AFRICA7 – L'OBS TV – CANAL EDUCATION – TNT EVENTS – LERAL TV – TV5 MONDE.
