"La Parfaite Inconnue" is the story of Aminat Popa, played by Beninese actress Nathalie Hounvo-Yèkpê. As the director of a major local company and wife to Victor, a charming man with whom she has a daughter, Aminat Popa is a fulfilled woman. At least, that's what the first few episodes of this soap opera reveal. But as the episodes unfold, things change and take a different turn.
Designed as a 52-episode, 26-minute series, this romantic drama brings together some 50 actors from six French-speaking African countries, including Benin, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and France.
Following "La saga des héritiers" and "La carte mémoire," "La Parfaite Inconnue" is the latest production from M Média Afrique, a Beninese production company headed by Ben Morou, written and directed by Adama Coulibaly, an Ivorian known as Arantess 2 Bonalii.
The distribution of this new series, which premiered on December 13 at the CanalOlympia Wolguèdè cinema in Cotonou, will be handled by DIFFA.
