According to the Omedia institute, TV advertising investment did not increase in October 2020 compared to October 2019.
After several months of sharp decline, advertising investment picked up slightly in September, with an increase of +10% compared to September 2019. In October, this recovery did not continue, as TV advertising investment remained at the same level as last year and also at the same level as in September 2020.
As in September, the top 10 spots were occupied by major telecom advertisers, betting sites, beer brands, and food brands. The beer brands MUTZIG and Castel Beer, which were not in the TOP 10 in the first half of 2020, are making up for lost time by occupying 1st and 5th
place in the TOP 10 for October, after ranking 2nd
and 4th in the TOP 10 in September.
