IPTV in Ivory Coast +3.4% in the third quarter of 2024

According to the Omedia institute, which tracks TV advertising investments by advertisers in Ivory Coast, TV advertising investments increased by 3.4% in the third quarter of 2024.

Overall, IPTV grew by 34.2% in the first nine months of the year compared to the first nine months of 2023.

This significant growth in TV advertising investment is largely due to the sporting events that took place in 2024: the 2024 African Cup of Nations from January 13 to February 11, 2024, broadcast on RTI, NCI, and CANAL+CAN; the Euro soccer championship from June 14 to July 14, broadcast on RTI; and the Olympic Games, also broadcast on RTI from July 26 to August 11.

January and February, and to a lesser extent June and July 2024, saw exceptional growth, enabling the channels that broadcast them to

take full advantage of this momentum.

The monthly TOP 10 consists of the same advertisers in July and August: CELESTE, WAVE, OKALAMAR, LONACI, BETCLIC, MOOV, MTN CI, PATES MAMAN, and COCA COLA.

The list will be updated slightly in September with the resumption of investments by Orange CI, LAITY, and DARCY.
