The Vivendi Africa Group, a new player in the African telecoms market, has announced the launch of CanalBox, its FTTH ultra-fast broadband internet service, in Brazzaville, two years after Pointe Noire.
Three offerings will be rolled out across the country, providing fiber optic access to the entire population: Canalbox Start, Canalbox Premium, and Canalbox Pro for businesses.
Canalbox is already established in Gabon, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Rwanda.
This project is based on a synergy with the Canal+ group, enabling GVA to leverage the brand's strength on the continent, a very large commercial network of stores and partners already distributing CANAL+ group products, and premium service quality.
