Gramica advertising agency sets up in Dakar

Two years after setting up in Abidjan, Gramica, a digital advertising agency specializing in French-speaking Africa, has announced the opening of a new office in Dakar. This marks a new step for the agency, which is looking to strengthen its presence on the continent.

According to founder Anaïs Girod, "This office in Dakar will enable us to better understand local advertising issues and those of neighboring countries in order to offer a personalized digital service. Since Gramica was founded, our digital offering has grown as a result of discussions with advertising agencies. Our goal is to provide a broad, personalized, and mobile digital offering. Broad because we offer both the purchase of advertising space on media agencies with a range of formats (banners, native, branding, InRead video, InStream video) and programmatic purchasing to expand our audience.

Beyond media buying, Gramica also offers agencies the outsourcing of their community management and campaigns across all social networks, including WhatsApp.

The next step for the advertising agency is Cameroon. "We want to continue developing our digital offering in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa with the help of local advertising agencies, creating our own market based on our own realities rather than copying what Europe or the US are doing. If all goes well, we would like to open a new office in Cameroon,"

says the founder.
