DISCOP launches into the organization of virtual markets

Patrick ZUCHOWICKI-JUCAUD, CEO of DISCOP, draws conclusions from the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis affecting the entire world. According to him, this crisis, which has changed our relationship with time and space, may lead companies to reconsider certain trips for professional gatherings, especially since the emergence of new, powerful communication tools now makes it possible to organize well-prepared and productive work meetings.

For all these reasons, DISCOP is broadening its scope and organizing two virtual markets bringing together more than 200 content buyers and co-production influencers, with a total of more than 650 participants from French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa.

The principle of the virtual market organized by DISCOP is as follows:

1/ Content offers are posted on an interactive platform.

2/ Over a period of three months, buyers and co-production influencers will be able to watch trailers, download pitches, and receive assistance from DISCOP in requesting information and organizing their meetings with sellers, taking into account the different time zones.

Each virtual market lasts long enough to guarantee content sellers a minimum of 15 remote meetings in excellent audio/video technical conditions.

The development of virtual markets is part of a broader DISCOP strategy aimed at creating an intelligent, dynamic, and well-informed virtual community that connects African producers with decision-makers and influencers in the field of audiovisual content.
