Christelle Hien-Kouame from Ivory Coast wins the sixth edition of the "RFI – France 24 Africa App Challenge"

Christelle Hien-Kouame from Ivory Coast wins the sixth edition of the "RFI Africa App Challenge – France 24 Challenge, dedicated to children's education in French-speaking Africa, with her project "Prenezlesfeuilles" (Take the Notes), an app designed to provide access to the school curriculum in the form of course summaries, organized by chapter and subject, accompanied by a series of multiple-choice questions to assess the learner's understanding. The winner's name was announced during a special program broadcast live on Facebook on the RFI and France 24

accounts, co-hosted by Emmanuelle Bastide (RFI – "Sept milliards de voisins") and Julia Sieger (France 24 – "#Tech24").

Open to all Africans and start-ups on the continent, this edition of the RFI-France 24 App Africa Challenge rewards digital innovations (websites, apps, SMS services, etc.) in the field of children's education in French-speaking Africa.

Thanks to the support of the partners of the "RFI – France 24 Africa App Challenge," Axian,

Digital Africa, Orange, AIMS, Emerging Valley

, and African incubators for innovative companies, the winner will receive a €15,000 grant to develop their project. The pan-African acceleration program SIBC

, led by AFD,

is supporting the winner in scaling up her project "Prenezlesfeuilles."

As a reminder, the two other finalists in the competition were:

goal is to support a generation of young Africans with alternative learning opportunities tailored to the needs of their environment and in their local languages.

with her "abcCode" project, a fun and intuitive educational program and coding environment that develops creativity and introduces children to creative programming from an early age.
