CANAL+ Digital Factory: a new initiative from CANAL+ International in Africa

CANAL+ International, which last week announced the launch of CANAL+ Impact, its solidarity program centered around a shared mission to share knowledge in order to develop talent on the continent, has announced a new initiative with the creation of its Digital Factory.

This new structure focuses on content, as the Digital Factory aims to become a laboratory for digital creativity, with the role of identifying and producing digital content.

This original content will have three main purposes:

1/ To enrich the My Canal app, making it the leading African content app.

2/ To enrich the content available on the new connected decoder, which is already operational in Côte d'Ivoire and Gabon and will be launched in other African territories by the end of 2023.

3/ Strengthen the group's social media presence, which already has nearly 25 million followers in Africa who are very keen on this type of content.

The CANAL+ DIGITAL FACTORY, headed by Alexandre GRUNER, will be based in DAKAR and will consist of a team of digital experts (graphic designers, creators, community managers, etc.) from all African countries.
