CANAL+ Afrique launches the African version of Fort Boyard

For the start of the 2019 season, CANAL+ Afrique has unveiled its latest programming additions.

In addition to Le Parlement du Rire, which marks its grand return every Sunday at 7 p.m., CANAL+ Afrique has announced the broadcast of two new daily dramas starting in October:

  • Oasis, a 20-episode series from Togo that tells the story of a young woman sent to a housing complex for industrial espionage. But there she encounters an old acquaintance who was actually her boyfriend, and this completely compromises her mission.
  • L’amour à 200 mètres, a series filmed in the DRC, which, through interviews with couples and humorous portraits, tackles the topic of new encounters in the digital age.

And for the first time on the continent, CANAL+ Afrique has announced the arrival of Fort Boyard.

An African version of the famous adventure game, featuring personalities from Ivory Coast, Mali, Niger, Togo, and Gabon, and presented by journalist Haussman Vwanderday. "Maître Yaya," played by Cameroonian comedian Valery Ndongo, will replace the iconic Père Fouras.

Starting September 21 at 7:30 p.m., viewers will be able to discover the ten episodes of Fort Boyard, produced by CANAL+ International, Videorama, and Adventure Line Productions.
