Startimes has partnered with the CINAF TV platform to offer its subscribers 100% Cameroonian content.
To do so, the Chinese digital television operator has formed a partnership with the Cameroonian streaming platform CINAF TV.
CINAF TV is a company that produces, broadcasts, and distributes Cameroonian film content. The platform now has a website, a mobile app, and a TV app.
Thanks to this partnership, StarTimes will offer its subscribers the CINAF TV channel, officially launched in February 2022. It will be a French-language family entertainment television channel, aiming to promote the best Cameroonian and African films in particular.
"Local content is one of the most important elements in StarTimes' current development, as it allows a greater number of viewers to learn about their culture and take pride in it. At the same time, it promotes the continuous improvement of local culture and offers viewers a wider variety of choices when watching television," according to Hervé Fabien MABOM, Marketing and Public Relations Manager at StarTimes Cameroon.
CINAF TV is available on channel 768 and broadcast in the Smart package. The channel will be available very soon on the StarTimes On mobile app.
