Call for entries for the "Talents du Rire RFI" award

As it does every year, RFI is launching the call for entries for the "RFI Talents du Rire Award," now in its 10th edition. Created in 2015 by comedian and columnist Mamane, in partnership with Gondwana-City Productions, this award highlights new talent in French-language comedy in Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Caribbean.

Artists have until December 10, 2024, to submit their applications.

The winner, selected by a jury of professionals, will receive a prize of €4,000 to further their career.

RFI will announce the winner's name on air on Wednesday, January 22. 

The award will be presented during the 10th edition of the "Abidjan Capitale du rire" festival on Sunday, February 23, 2025, of which RFI and France 24 are partners.
