Angela Aquereburu appointed CEO of SRTB

Angela Aquereburu, one of the leading figures in French-speaking African broadcasting, takes the helm at SRTB (Société de Radio et de Télévision du Bénin).

Angela Aquereburu, co-founder of the production company Yobo Studios based in Lomé with her husband, Jean-Luc Rabatel, has worked in most areas of audiovisual production since 2008, when the company was founded.

Today, Angela Aquereburu is recognized and appreciated for her work as a director, producer, host, and fiction writer.

His productions have received several awards, including the prize for best series at the Vues d'Afrique Festival in Montreal for "Hospital IT." 

She also produced and presented "Les Maternelles d'Afrique," the African version of the French program "La Maison des Maternelles," broadcast on TV5 Monde and several other African channels.

Through her creativity, social commitment, and entrepreneurial vision, Angela Aquereburu has been actively involved in the development of the African audiovisual landscape for many years.

This appointment as CEO of the Société de Radio et Télévision du Bénin (SRTB) marks a new stage in her career, in a country that has adopted a bold strategy in favor of the audiovisual and creative industries.
