The next edition of the Afrobytes Conference will take place on May 15, 2019, in Paris.
This upcoming edition will once again bring together personalities and leaders from the tech world as well as the most promising start-ups. Paris, and more specifically Station F, will be transformed into a true hub connecting African and international tech ecosystems.
This year, Afrobytes is organizing pitch sessions entitled "Pitch My Country" with the aim of showcasing a country's entrepreneurial initiatives to investors and companies and giving them visibility in the international media.
Alongside many English-speaking African countries such as South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria, the DRC will also have the opportunity to pitch its country's entrepreneurial dynamic. Afrobytes is partnering with Congo Business Network to organize the very first "Pitch My Country Congo" session.
Congo Business Network is an international network of Congolese professionals and entrepreneurs driven by the ambition to connect professionals and entrepreneurs from the diaspora in order to contribute to the economic development of Congo. For this upcoming edition of Afrobytes, Congo Business Network will accompany a delegation of the most promising Congolese tech startups.
Among the selected startups are MaxiCash (FinTech), MEDpay (HealthTech), Tinda (Logistics), Eteyelo (EdTech), and Moko, an Afro and Caribbean music distribution platform launched in Montreal in 2018.
Together, these startups will represent Congolese tech and embody the dynamism and potential of the country's economy.
