On April 12, the CAF President announced the results of the draw for the groups for the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations. Here are the six groups competing in the first phase of the African soccer tournament:
*Group A (Cairo): Egypt, DR Congo, Uganda, and Zimbabwe
*Group B (Alexandria): Nigeria, Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi
*Group C (Cairo): Senegal, Algeria, Kenya, and Tanzania
*Group D (Cairo): Morocco, Ivory Coast, South Africa, and Namibia
*Group E (Suez): Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, and Angola
*Group F (Ismailia): Cameroon, Ghana, Benin, and Guinea-Bissau.
