The third edition of the Douala Pan-African Series Festival, originally scheduled for 2025, has been postponed and will now take place from November 12 to 14, 2026.
Douala Series is organized by the cultural association Festival Panafricain de Série de Douala, created to promote African culture through television series.
The promoters of Douala Series are Ebenezer KEPOMBIA and Jean Roke PATOUDEM, whom we interviewed during the first edition of the festival.
The 2023 and 2024 seasons have established the festival as a regular event for African series and web series. Several competitions are organized for the occasion (official TV series competition, web series competition, and an out-of-competition event for discovering new talent), as well as conferences, training sessions, and screenings.
Although the festival's organizing committee has confirmed that the third edition will take place, there is currently no information available on the schedule for submissions or on the actual organization of the three-day festival, which is nevertheless expected to follow the same format as the first two editions.
