French company JCDecaux has appointed South African Donald Liphoko as marketing director for sub-Saharan Africa for the outdoor advertising group.
The French company has just announced its choice of the South African. He will now be responsible for implementing JCDecaux's strategies in sub-Saharan Africa.
"We are very pleased to welcome Donald to the team. He brings a wealth of media experience to this position," said Adelaide McKelvey, Sales and Marketing Director for JCDecaux Sub-Saharan Africa.
For his part, Liphoko said he was "delighted to be joining an ambitious team with a forward-looking African strategy."
Donald Liphoko, former director general of the South African government's information and communications system, has several years of experience. He has worked for the advertising group WPP and the American communications agency Interpublic.
