CAN 2019: France 24's coverage

On the occasion of the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, taking place in Egypt from June 21 to July 19, 2019, France 24 is mobilizing and offering comprehensive coverage, including dedicated news bulletins on the competition. Special editions

Friday, June 21, from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The French and Arabic channels will broadcast special editions for the opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations, presented by Benoit Perrochais (French) and Hedi Ajmi (Arabic).

Friday, July 19

The French, English, and Arabic channels will broadcast special editions for the final, presented by Benoit Perrochais (fr), Kéthévane Gorjestani (eng), and Hedi Ajmi (ar).

Throughout the competition, the French and Arabic channels will broadcast a nightly news program at midnight dedicated to the biggest sporting event in Africa, presented in French by Benoît Perrochais and Eliott Samuel, and in Arabic by Hedi Ajmi and Athmane Taibi, with live reports from special correspondents on the ground.

From June 21 to July 19 at 8:20 p.m.

Throughout the competition, France 24's French-language sports news program will be extended to cover the latest news from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
