MTN Côte d'Ivoire has officially announced the resignation of its CEO, Mr. Freddy Tchala. He will step down from his position on September 30.
Mr. Freddy Tchala has spent 17 years with the MTN Group. He joined MTN Cameroon in 2002 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of MTN Guinea Conakry in 2008. After three years in this role, he then served as Chief Executive Officer of MTN Congo Brazzaville for four years before joining MTN Côte d'Ivoire in 2015.
No information has been revealed at this time regarding the identity of his successor. The announcement is expected to be made shortly by senior management.
