MainOne, a company specializing in internet connectivity, is set to connect Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire to Europe via its submarine cable.
As part of a strategic partnership signed with Orange and its West African subsidiaries (Sonatel and Orange Côte d'Ivoire), MainOne has confirmed that it will connect the telecom operator's networks to the MainOne submarine cable in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire during September and October 2019.
This new step in the deployment of MainOne's activities on the continent will enable the development of the internet in the two countries concerned, thus ensuring better, less expensive connectivity and contributing to the development of new digital services.
MainOne is committed to leading the digital transformation in West Africa, driving economic growth and developing the ecosystem through affordable and ubiquitous connectivity,
