Following the official launch of Africa Radio's activities in Abidjan on June 12, the radio station is expected to begin broadcasting in Brazzaville by December.
Dominique Guihot, CEO of Africa Radio, announced that he had reached an agreement with the local Ministry of Communication and Media to make Africa Radio operational in Brazzaville by December, on the 94.5 FM frequency.
As Dominique Guihot explained in an interview with Adweknow, Africa Radio aims to cover the main capitals of French-speaking Africa in the coming years with a unique program focused on cultural pan-Africanism. The ambition is also to support the educational, cultural, and economic development of the countries where the radio station will be established. After Abidjan and Brazzaville, Dakar and Ouagadougou will be the next major stages in the rollout of Africa Radio.
