Africascope: Top Radio Audiences in Ivory Coast in 2019

A comparison of the results of the 2019 Africascope study (for the whole year) with those for 2018 shows that there was a great deal of activity among radio stations in Côte d'Ivoire, leading to numerous changes in the TOP 10 RADIO rankings.

AL BAYANE has progressed and retained its first place, followed by RFI, which has retained its second place despite a slight decline.

FREQUENCE 2, the public service music station, takes third place thanks to a remarkable 58% increase in one year (+3.1 points in audience share). With an 8.4% audience share, it is ahead of NOSTALGIE, which is also growing (+0.5 points).

The second public service station, RCI, is also doing well and has moved up one place thanks to a 0.7 point increase in audience share.

TRACE FM takes fifth place, with a 2.4% increase in audience share over the year.

In terms of music radio stations, HIT RADIO enters in ninth position, while VIBE RADIO, which occupied this place in 2018, drops out of the top 10.

Among religious radio stations, FREQUENCE VIE enters in 10th place, while RADIO ESPOIR and RNC (La voix de l'Evangile) have fallen significantly, losing 2.8 points and 1.6 points in audience share respectively.
