In several countries, schools have had to close their doors. In West Africa, as in the rest of the world, distance learning has become the norm in homes. To support students' learning, the Ministry of Education and CRTV have launched an initiative to provide lessons on television. The channel has changed its programming to ensure the continuity of education for the country's students. The channel is taken over in the morning and afternoon by teachers who give lessons at all levels with French and English content. Students also have the opportunity to submit their questions via a number provided by the channel (8018).
Other online initiatives have been set up in the country to ensure the continuity of schooling, but internet access remains limited for some Cameroonian families, whether they are disadvantaged or live in remote areas.
