Life TV, which will occupy channel 6 on digital terrestrial television (DTT) and whose last official communication dates back to July 2018, has finally broken its silence with a cryptic message: "We're picking up the signal."
This announcement is a strong statement, but it is not yet a reality: there is still no signal on DTT and the legitimate questions of Facebook fans remain unanswered.
This teaser-style communication strategy, which leaves questions unanswered and seeks to fuel buzz, is generally used to raise brand awareness among the general public. But Life TV is already very well known, and Ivorians should not have to wait too long and become frustrated when these announcements do not quickly turn into reality. For now, the silence remains on the part of Life TV executives whom we have contacted. Let's hope that this silence will be short-lived.
